ANGAKUT

The Birth of the Studio

Angakut studio was designed in a hope of having an alternative way of musical expression blending the traditional and technological, a different path from the current music industry norms toward truer creative freedom, discovery and reconnection to the joy in the process of making music. It was also started to preserve earlier forms of sacred music and instruments which unfortunately is in decline, and finally to offer an empathic musical voice to our collective emotions.

The studio is home to some of the older, more scarce Shamanic and World instruments each with their own narratives and history which are an integral part of Angakut.
